About Commercial Tire

In 1968 Bob Schwenkfelder started Commercial Tire with a single location in Boise, ID that would grow to be one of the largest tire and service companies in the Northwest. Our tire shop on Pole Line Road in Twin Falls provides the community with various professional tire services and auto care. This location became the 31st location when it was opened in 2000. This 4-bay location gives our certified technicians plenty of space to provide services such as wheel alignments, oil changes, and more. Nearby businesses include Target, Costco, and Red Robin—among others. We value and appreciate our community support, so we give back and support our community through various partnerships. Although we have grown beyond our original location in Boise, and we are now a regional employee-owned company, we still keep the same vision and work tirelessly to give our customers an exceptional experience.

Above-and-beyond service when I needed it most!

I came into Commercial Tire thinking my steering issue was caused by unbalanced wheels. The team got my tires balanced right away—quick and professional. But even after balancing, the steering still felt off. That’s when Tyler stepped in and took a closer look.

He discovered something I never would’ve expected: my 4Runner’s rear LCA bolt was completely missing. Instead of leaving me stranded, Tyler found a spare bolt he happened to have lying around and installed it so I could safely make the long drive back to Seattle.

The most amazing part? They didn’t charge me a single cent for it.

Tyler and the entire Commercial Tire team went above and beyond. Honest, skilled, and genuinely caring—this is the kind of shop every traveler hopes to find. Highly recommended!
