In 1968 Bob Schwenkfelder started Commercial Tire with a single location in Boise, ID that would grow to be one of the largest tire and service companies in the Northwest. Commercial Tire in Nampa gives this community a reliable and professional place to meet all their auto care and tire needs. This location became the 10th location when it was opened in 1987. The Commercial Tire store on 11th Avenue in Nampa helped me out big time on New Years Eve. That day is a pretty busy one for a tire store. Lots of folks who have time off for the holidays had dropped their cars off for tire work or repairs. My Rav4 had a slow leak caused by a screw I ran over. I didn't want to be driving on the interstate back and forth to work the next few days without getting that tire fixed. The Toyota dealer said they didn't have time to fix the tire. As I drove into the Commercial Tire store I could see they were busy. However, they found the time when Toyota wouldn't, and Commercial Tire fixed the tire. And what did they charge? Nothing. (Yes, I gave them a tip!) Really appreciate the 11th Avenue store for helping me out on a Holiday.
