About Commercial Tire

In 1968 Bob Schwenkfelder started Commercial Tire with a single location in Boise, ID that would grow to be one of the largest tire and service companies in the Northwest. This location became the 8th location when it was opened in 1986. This 6-bay location is designed to help service all of your retail and commercial service needs. The service rep went beyond just selling me tires. I needed new winter tires for my Subaru Outback. I studied up & compared tire choices & dealers. Commercial has been my place of choice for 20+ years. I asked about All Weather Tires & he suggested Bridgestone's Weatherpeak Touring tires. I read about them & decided to go that direction since winters have changed. I still have tread on my Cooper Touring tires beyond winter so they suggested I switch end of winter til they are worn. After that I'll not have to switch which is great. The mechanics found 2 broken bolts & replaced them no charge, (common to Subaru's). The Weatherpeak's are dependable in our unpredictable Northwest weather
conditions of ice, slush & claim no hydroplaning on heavy wet roads. I have 2 tough mountain passes to drive over & need safety & dependability.
I am impressed by the smooth, quiet ride & secure steering I'm experiencing. Very happy I stayed with the great service I get at Commercial tires in La Grande, Oregon!

My car kept showing low tire pressure, we went to Commercial to have them check it out. They were very busy, but took the time to check them and filled them for us. I asked if they snow tires to fit my car. We had to make a trip to Boise, and expected snow. They had one pair, worked us in and got us going on our trip. Very great service!
