In 1968 Bob Schwenkfelder started Commercial Tire with a single location in Boise, ID that would grow to be the largest employee-owned tire and service companies in the Northwest. Our tire shop in Kuna provides professional tire and auto care services with reliable results at a fair price. This location was opened in 2023. The service itself was good and the staff handled my issue professionally. I walked in with a flat tire, and they were able to take care of it before the quoted time, which I appreciated.
That said, the main concern is the waiting time communication. Every time I walk in—no matter how small the issue is, even a flat tire—the standard response is always “the wait time is 2 hours.” While the service often ends up being completed sooner, constantly quoting a 2-hour wait feels unreasonable and misleading.
Accurate and realistic wait time estimates would greatly improve the customer experience. Good service overall, but the waiting-time approach definitely needs improvement.

The team was very informative, and helpful with my alignment and stripped track bar bolt, and even provided a temporary bolt until the correct one could be ordered. Everyone at this location seems to be very motivated by superior customer service and speedy repair to get people like me back on the road.

Great service. Front desk folks were super helpful. Not sure who the guy was, but I drive an EV and let me know the original tires I was going to get would be shredded in less than a year. So I’m glad he was able to direct me on a better option!

Ironically, I was sent to see Brady from another mechanic shop because he said Brady would let me know if my oil leak was an easy fix or an urgent matter without charging me a huge diagnostic fee. Brady did just that...he told me what was wrong in less than 5 minutes. My van had a broken oil filter housing. Brady took me back and showed me and explained everything and said that I could think about it...because he was so nice...I trusted him to do the work right then and there. He had a nice kid drive me home and he picked me up himself the next day after the repair was done. Brady spent extra time to clean up the oil mess all over my engine as well so it wouldn't leak on my driveway. I didn't know that Commercial Tire could handle most car repairs along with tires. I won't take my van to anyone else but them from now on....excellent honest service at a fair price...thanks guys...my anxiety over my oil leak is now gone...I appreciate you fixing it and saving my van before I had a major costly breakdown...blessings.
