In 1968 Bob Schwenkfelder started Commercial Tire with a single location in Boise, ID that would grow to be one of the largest tire and service companies in the Northwest. This location became the 16th location when it was opened in 2003.This 5-bay location is designed to help service all of your retail and commercial service needs. Nearby businesses include Pepe’s Bakery, Conquistador Mexican Restaurant, and Dosage Restaurant — among others. We understand that the community supports us, so we like to support our community through various partnerships. Although the company has grown, the vision has remained the same — focus on working hard, meeting the wide-ranging needs of our customers, and employing people you can trust. This remains the vision, especially now that we’re 100% employee owned.

I had a fantastic experience at Commercial Tire a few weeks ago on a day that was full of rough patches. I had gotten a flat tire in Grandview, was stranded waiting for a tow for over 3 hours, and I didn't even arrive at Commercial Tire until almost an hour after they had closed. I had called ahead while I was waiting for the tow to confirm I could make an after hours drop off, and the woman who I spoke to, Lilia, informed me that herself and her team might still be there after closing. They were, including the shop managet, and they even found a tire that matched my flat and were able to change it in about 15 minutes. This was an hour and a half after they had officially closed. I cannot speak highly enough of the kind and caring customer service I recieved from Lilia and the quick, experienced service from the mechanics. They were all very kind and readily helped me out when I was in a tough spot. Thank you so much to the Commercial Tire employees for their compassion and excellent service.

I was greeted immediately with a friendly greeting. Although the front desk manager was a little loud and over the top he was friendly. I prefer the lady who’s always at the front. She’s a happy medium.

Nonetheless, the service to fix my tire was quick and the waiting area was clean and organized.

I also appreciate the free flat repair after buying my tires there.
