In 1968 Bob Schwenkfelder started Commercial Tire with a single location in Boise, ID that would grow to be one of the largest tire and service companies in the Northwest. This location became the 3rd location when it was opened in 1976. This 9-bay location is designed to help service all of your retail and commercial service needs. Nearby businesses include Costco, Regal Edwards Movie Theater, and Cracker Barrel Restaurant– among others. We understand that the community supports us, so we like to support our community through various partnerships. I originally went to Les Schwab for my troubles when I first started driving. My brother experienced an entire wheel coming off his lifted truck while on the freeway literally right after he left. TALK ABOUT SCARY! On another occasion he went in and had them replace 2 tires and when they replaced the tires, they also put the tire with the screw in it back on too?😂 I don't know if they need more sleep or better training but they should figure that out. After these horror stories and my own person experiences of being spoken to in a similar way someone who doesn’t speak a foreign language would speak to someone who only speaks a foreign language would, I have made the choice to not have my vehicle serviced there.

Commercial, however, overall wonderful customer service at any location, I drive away satisfied with what I've paid and my car needs are always taken care of, even when I am back in under warranty.

What I really love about this team is their HONESTY. The quality of work is excellent. They always seem to take care of me and to do a professional job. They did unfortunately tell me about the changes coming from corporate about the $30 for changing my snow tires/wheels each time. Not very happy about that because I’m sure it probably goes to corporate raises at an employee-owned company.
