In 1968 Bob Schwenkfelder started Commercial Tire with a single location in Boise, ID that would grow to be one of the largest tire and service companies in the Northwest. This location became the 17th location when it was opened in 1995. This location is designed to help service all of your commercial tire and service needs. We understand that the community supports us, so we like to support our community through various partnerships. Although the company has grown, the vision has remained the same — focus on working hard, meeting the wide-ranging needs of our customers, and employing people you can trust. This remains the vision, especially now that we’re 100% employee owned.

For truck service with Tire delivery, dock is on the south side of the building. Overnight parking is allowed, just don’t back into dock.

I'm a car hauler and had to swing by to get a new spare tire to put on my trailer. Randy rolled the new spare out back to my trailer; set it up in its rack and secured it for me. I never once had to touch the tire. Thanks Randy for the great customer service. All the people here were down to earth and friendly.

Yesterday I was headed southbound on I15 and blew a tire on a trailer I was hauling. Luckily I was next to the exit and looked up closest tire shops. Boy am I glad I chose this location. Slowly I limped the trailer there and immediately was helped despite the fact that they were busy. The gentleman that help me, I wish I could remember his name. Took a look and put a worker to get going on my trailer. That there alone won my business. Here’s the best part of my experience. After they installed the new tire and got them paid, I went to turn on my truck. I had no crank whatsoever. I thought it was dead batteries. I went back inside and again the gentleman helped by getting jumper cables. Well that didn’t work and he proceeded to help me find a solution. The fact that he spent time trying to help me look into the fuse’s and the starter even though that was not his job left me amazed in their service. All the staff was amazing helpful and friendly. At the end he had to get back to work and after maybe 20 minutes my coworker figured out the positive cable was loose on both batteries. Weird, but we tighten them and we went on our way. I didn’t get a chance to thank him but if you see this. Thank you for your exceptional service.
